This Teddy bear made
of high-quality mohair is an extremely rare breed of bear, for he is one
of the few with a little tail. Turn the tail and he comes to life and
moves his head, thanks to a sophisticated neck mechanism invented by
Hugo Steiff in 1931. However, there were no Steiff Teddy bears made with
this mechanism until 1955, "only" dogs, cats, monkeys,
elephants, lambs, penguins and ducks. |
