Historically, Molly was made from 1925 until the 1950's in both natural & vibrant colours & in a wide variety of styles - seated, standing, as a pin cushion or a bag, with a press-and-listen voice & also as a puppet, hanging toy or Molliette Charleston animal.

Molly Dog 1927 

Molly is made of red tipped & white mohair & wears a gold-coloured bell on a blue taffeta ribbon. 

Molly has a turning head, glass eyes & is stuffed with wood shavings.  Molly also has a gold-plated "Button in Ear".
 

This toy does not comply with the European directive covering toys (88/378/EEC/Appendix II).
