Steiff Saint Nicholas
 

This fully jointed Saint Nicholas bear is made of antique-gold mohair.

His outfit comprises a classic mitre embroidered with a gold-coloured cross and decorated with an antique gold border.  His traditional cape is made of fine, red cotton velvet and this is also decorated with a border.  His shift is made of white cotton and is held by a cord belt at the waist.  He holds a gold-coloured bishop's staff is his right paw.

This bear has a very serious look on his face as he is aware of the importance and dignity of his position.  As you will also see from the picture he has a beard of long-tufted white mohair.
