In 1908 Otto Steiff and the Steiff representative in England, Herbert Hughes,
ordered for presentation in London a set of six brightly coloured bears.
Four of these Teddy bears in the colours green, yellow, pink and black
crossed the Channel as samples and have never been seen since. This fine replica, with extraordinarily beautiful green mohair
and boot-button eyes, begins the series of the four missing colourful Teddy
bears.
He
is a 35cm, jointed, mohair bear with a gold-plated "Button in Ear"
& growler. He is stuffed with
wood shavings & has boot-button eyes.
Surface washable.
