In 1908 Otto Steiff and the Steiff
representative in England, Herbert Hughes, ordered for presentation in
London a set of four brightly coloured bears. Four of these Teddy bears
in the colours green, yellow, pink and black crossed the Channel as
samples and have never been seen since. |
